To be honest, you do quite amazingly at painting a picture here, and this is one of the better ones I've reviewed.

Both arms seem a little too big for a little girl, most noticeably at the right arms elbow. You've gone for more of a male arm and to be honest I can't fully tell if its male or female, the clothes, hair and body shape point towards female but the face, the arms just point to male.

Females are slender by nature while men are more angular with parts profounded.

The nose points out in a way that only an ugly woman or a less-attractive male would have, female noses tend to be more smaller (Or the"ideal" female nose does).

I think the mouth just seems misplaced on the actual face, like you've made it for a front-perspective face and just tilted it. Try experimenting with lots of different types of mouths; this one as far as I believe does not suit the picture.

The eyes seem too big for the face; I would shrink them slightly and make it more curved either at the centre or near the outer side (Not the outer side itself, that's mainly for cats.)

The fleshing on the arm needs a little work if you want to make it look more natural, the light reflects off it in a way that looks like a tendon is pushed out of the skin by something like 1 or 2 cm, making a line on the arm. (It could be a hidden robot feature, and the surface is just jumping off a bit of metal, everyone loves robots!).

As for shadows and the like - for the most part, the shadows actually seem to be quite good. They look like they miss the environment around the actual person, but that really isn't an issue as the character is more exposed because of it.

Hair looks good, ribbons are okay.

I don't know what she's holding the leaf with, it seems misplaced on the hand a little, I'd expect to see a thumb.

The head is a little.... eh.... I would personally make it more angular. If you look at the left cheek there are two darker lines, they make it seem like thats the end of the face but it goes on... making the face seem like the neck is to the left and the face is a circle on a circle (Hard-oval shaped face). Make the cheeks pop more!

Overall this was just a quick review I did in the middle of doodling stuff. I haven't proofread it so if you believe anything wrong feel free to question me about it and ill probably explain it sometime next week maby.

The only things that I think need major work on are the arms and the face (as a whole).
